Keep your folding mechanism safe with extra protective iron hook. Up until April, 2019, all Xiaomi scooters were made with similar hook, made from aluminum. It proved too brittle and was replaced in later models with this iron hook. The hook is thicker than the original pin, standing at 5.9mm.

INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS: to change from aluminum to iron hook, it’s necessary to extend the pin holes. This can be done with any 6mm, metal drill. If you’re unsure about any installation requirements, we recommend consulting the specialist.
